100 Birthday and Wedding Anniversaries

The Queen will send out a message of congratulations to an individual to celebrate their 100th and 105th birthdays and every year thereafter

The Queen will send a message of congratulations to a couple celebrating their Diamond Wedding (60th), 65th wedding and 70th wedding anniversaries and every year thereafter

How can I ensure that these messages will be sent ?

Notification to the Palace of birthdays should be handled automatically by the Department of Work and Pensions but wedding anniversaries will be marked only if someone draws The Queen's attention to the date. This should be done by applicants writing to:

The Anniversaries Officer
Buckingham Palace
London
SW1A 1AA
Tel 020-7930 4832

(this address can also be used to check that the Palace has received the appropriate information in respect of birthdays)

Advice can also be given by the Lieutenancy Office. Further information and application forms can also be downloaded from the Royal website www.royal.gov.uk
